Kanasi: Like an autumn poem

Reasons for recommendation

Clear blue skies, pristine water, straight poplars, a beautiful birch forest and golden leaves attract loads of visitors to Kanasi every September. The area also features traditional Tuva houses, horses and lakes with fetching names such as Yueliang Bend (Moon Bend) and Shenxian Bend (Immortal Bend). Kanasi is known as the best place in Xinjiang to enjoy the autumn.

With its leaves changing color in September, the Kanasi scenic spot looks like a colorful painting. Moon-shaped Kanasi Lake has six bends, each with its own magical legend. The lake is surrounded by dense forests and grasslands which make Kanasi appear like an autumn poem under the golden sunshine.

Accommodations: There are many comfortable and graceful holiday villages in the scenic spot. We recommend staying at the Lanhu Holiday Village.
