The China National Tourism Administration and the Tianjin municipal government have announced that the 2010 China Tourism Industries Festival will be held in Tianjin from October 13 to 17.

She Qingwen, the director general of the Tianjin Tourism Bureau, said that this year's event will have five themed sections and will serve as a platform for global tourism industries to communicate and exchange ideas.

It is reported that there are nearly 500 confirmed enterprise participants and nearly 1,800 exhibition slots have been booked.
