For a good overview of the city, there is no better spot than the top of Shanghai World Financial Center in Pudong. With 101 floors above ground level and soaring to a height of 492m, it is currently the world's tallest completed building by roof. Park Hyatt Shanghai is the hotel component, becoming the highest in the world, surpassing the Grand Hyatt Shanghai on the 53rd to 87th floors of the neighboring Jin Mao Tower.
