Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said here Thursday that China will
endeavor to create a stable, transparent, fair and predictable
policy environment for global enterprises including growth
companies.
Wen made the remarks while meeting with entrepreneurs from China
and overseas attending the summer meeting of the World Economic
Forum (WEF) being held in coastal Dalian City of Liaoning
Province.
China will open up further, obey international practices and WTO
rules strictly, and keep improving laws and regulations, he
said.
According to the premier, China will attach much attention to
intellectual property right (IPR) protection, carrying out
international duties, improving IPR system, cracking down on IPR
infringement behaviors, developing IPR services and strengthening
cooperation with other countries and international
organizations.
Wen said that the theme of the meeting focusing on global growth
companies is of great significance.
Global growth companies are facing both challenges and
opportunities while the economic globalization process and world
industrial structure adjustment are speeding up, said Wen.
Global growth companies should keep its pioneer position through
innovation, strengthen international cooperation, promote
prosperity of the world economy to realize mutual benefits and to
create a win-win situation, he said.
According to him, all governments should provide more policy
support for the healthy development of global growth companies and
those companies should take more social responsibilities to
contribute to the sustainable development of the world economy and
the improvement of the living standards of world people.
