During Sunday's 17th round of the Brasileiro Championship in the first division, Cruzeiro pulled off a come from behind victory against the home team of Flamengo.
At the Maracana stadium, Cruzeiro won by a score of 2-1. With Sunday's victory, Cruzeiro got their 33rd point of the tournament and is currently in second place, only two points behind the leader, Gremio.
Sunday's loss for Flamengo caused the home crowd to boo their team. For the first time since his arrival as the head coach of Flamengo, Caio Junior was on the receiving end of chants and slander as the team has not won a game in its last six appearances. Flamengo is currently in sixth place in the Brasileiro with 28 points.
The first half of Sunday's match was scoreless due to the excellent job of both goalkeepers on the field. However, the second half got off to a quick start when Flamengo scored in the 12th minute.
