The Chinese Football Association (CFA) has reached an agreement with Ratomir Dujkovic over his removal from the post as head coach of the men's Olympic soccer team.
CFA leader Xie Yalong announced the final decision at a team meeting Thursday morning, Sohu reports.
China made the decision to hand the position over to Chinese coach Yin Tiesheng just 22 days before the Olympics.
Yin Tiesheng will be the temporary executive head coach of the Chinese Olympic soccer team in charge of training sessions and game plans for the team.
Ratomir Dujkovic will stay on collecting information on the team's rivals for the Chinese coaches.
The CFA negotiated with Ratomir Dujkovic until 3 o'clock Thursday morning.
Officials and the Chinese people have doubted Ratomir Dujkovic's ability as head coach since China's losses in the qualifying matches for the 2010 World Cup, previous reports said.
