China and France, the top two teams in the world ranking, have advanced to the women's epee team final at the FIE 2008 World Championships here on Saturday, while Germany and Poland will compete for the bronze.

China led Germany for most part of the semi-final until Duplitzer Imke evened the score at 24-24 and kept it to the end of regular time. China's Zhong Weiping stroke the decisive point in extra time to send the host team to the final.

Meanwhile, Franace scored a comfortable win of 35-32 over Poland, which ranked the 6th in the world, to advance into the final.

The World Championships is being held on April 18-20. Three events -- men's foil team, women's epee team and men's foil individual -- are included in the agenda as part of "Good Luck Beijing" tests for the upcoming Olympics.
