Brazil soccer veteran Romario Friday said he would retire from the soccer world.

However, it seems to be just another stunt from the player to draw attention so as to receive another offer from another Brazilian soccer team.

Romario made the announcement as he was still contracted by Vasco and there still remains the possibility that the player will sign with Flamengo.

Romario's current contract with Vasco expires on March 31.
