Two players from leading Argentine soccer club Boca Juniors on Monday suffered bruises but no serious injuries when the car they were traveling in crashed on a highway in the south of Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
Pablo Migliore and Josue Ayala, who are both substitute goalkeepers, had been traveling in a BMW on the Dellepiane Highway close to the Villa Lugano neighborhood when driver Migliore lost control and the car flipped over.
They were taken to the nearby Santojanni Hospital where they were declared to be at no major risk. Migliori "suffered only a cut to his scalp" Santojanni doctor Sergio Auge told a local media.
Gabriel Llonta, who is in charge of Police Station number 48, said there were no more serious consequences because both had worn seatbelts and the car has an airbag system.
Migliore, 26, was substitute in Boca's Sunday 0-0 draw with Huracan. Ayala, 19, plays for Boca's junior teams.
