Four all-Ligue 1 clashes have emerged from Sunday's last 64
round of the French Cup while three top-flight sides fell prey to
lower league opposition.
Olympique Marseille, Racing Strasbourg, Girondins Bordeaux and
Lorient will take on Monaco, Metz, Le Mans and Stade Rennes
respectively. The ties will be played on February 3 and 4.
Toulouse, Racing Lens and Caen were ousted by third division
Paris FC, second division Niort and Sedan at the weekend.
Paris FC beat Toulouse, who played in the Champions League
qualifiers this season, 2-1 to cause the biggest shock of the
weekend.
The amateur side, coached by Jean-Guy Wallemme who captained
Lens to the 1998 French league title, earned their passage to the
next round.
