Dutch football club Ajax is to sign a letter of intent for joint activities with the Chinese football association, local club Beijing Guoan FC and Chinese state TV, Dutch paper NRC Next reported Thursday.

The paper said the deal will include training Chinese youth teams. But no figures were disclosed about the deal.

The paper pointed out that Ajax's new sponsor, Dutch insurer Aegon, is active in China.
