China emerged on top in both men's and women's military
pentathlon at the 4th Military World Games in Hyderabad on
Friday.
DPR Korea's Ya Un Jong came first with a timing of 14.36 minutes
in cross-country race, the final stage of the five-event military
pentathlon.
Her compatriot Pak Hyang Soi came in second with 14.37
minutes.
However, it was Chinese women's team that collected a total of
16,195.9 points to win the trophy.
DPR Korea got the silver with 15,779.4 points, and Russia was
the bronze taker in 15735.8 points.
Zhang Hequan of China clocked 25 minutes and 57 seconds to cover
the 8-kilometer cross country race, sealing the win for Chinese
team in 21,488.01 points.
Belarus won the silver with 21,408.6 points, while the bronze
went to Germany with 21,348.09 points.
