The golf Presidents Cup will return to Australia's Royal
Melbourne Golf Club in 2011, the US PGA Tour announced
Thursday.
The Melbourne site is the first Presidents Cup to be played
outside the United States in 1998.
Royal Melbourne will become the first course to host the event
more than once. The Internationals squad took their only triumph
thus far in the rivalry at Royal Melbourne, winning 20 1/2-11 1/2.
The United States leads the series 4-1-1.
Until this week, the only other Presidents Cup staged outside US
soil was the draw played in South Africa in 2003.
No dates have been set for the event but it is expected to be in
late November or early December of 2011.
