The broker in charge of the Chinese basketball player Sun Yue's
transfer to the NBA has denied the completion of any contract
between the player and the Los Angeles Lakers.

In an interview with website sina.com, Keith Glass confirmed
that negotiations between the Lakers and Sun's current owner, the
Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) side Aoshen, are still
underway.
The Lakers' training camp will open in early October, before
which the contract talks will be concluded, Glass said.
An ESPN TV network columnist, Henry Abbott, published an article
on Tuesday, in which Sun was featured in a list of 12 rookies, all
of whom were reported to have signed contracts with the Lakers.
Sun had been granted a one-year rookie contract worth about
US$420,000 but without a guarantee, according to the Abbott's
report.
However, as displayed on the club's website, Sun remains with an
unsigned label, the same as that of Spaniard Marc Gasol.
Sun, a Chinese national team player, was picked by the Lakers
48th in this June's draft.
