Cook Islands and Fiji are to play a tough match on Thursday
afternoon for gold of Rugby League 9s at the 13th South Pacific
Games in Samoa.
Cook Islanders crashed Samoa's gold dream in the semi-final on
Wednesday, with Terry Teraitua scoring three minutes into the
game.
Samoa was defeated by Cook Islanders 6-0 at last, and woke up
only on Thursday morning to capture the bronze, winning 20-10.
Fiji's win on Wednesday was well expected and they were able to
break through the Tong defence in the fourth minute, with Sevanaia
Koroi scoring in the corner. Fiji won at 12-6.
