Chinese Marathoners Sweep Top Titles of Xiamen International Marathon

Li Zhuhong of China clocked a winning time of two hours 13 minutes and 17 seconds to claim the men's title at the 2007 Xiamen International Marathon race here on Saturday.
 
Li, from Gansu province, is the first male Chinese who won the long-distance race in Xiamen.

The silver medal was taken by Kenyan runner Toroitich Haron Kiplimo in 2:13:25, followed by his compatriot Kirwa Meshack Kosgei in 2:15:47.

Also on Saturday, Chinese Zhu Xiaolin led her compatriots for a clean sweep of medals in the 2007 Xiamen International Marathon women's race .

Zhu completed the distance in two hours 26 minutes and eight seconds for the top honor.

Sun Weiwei and Zhang Shujing, from Liaoning and Jilin provinces, finished second and third in 2:29:27 and 2:31:14 respectively.
