Yao Ming scored 24 points and 13 rebounds in his first home game since he recovered from his knee injury when the Houston Rockets beat the New Jersey Jets 112-91 on Friday night.

Team mate Tracy McGrady scored 34 points, shooting over 30 points for the 18th time this season.

Yao, who has missed 32 games due to a fractured tibia, was 6-of-11 from the field and went 12-of-13 from the free throw line.
