Xiamen Lanshi's unbeaten run of seven games in China's top
soccer league has finally come to an end, with Shenzhen Kingway
outplaying them 3-2 in the CSL's 25th round.
Angolan striker Joaquim Silva Quinzinho's two goals were not
enough to save Xiamen Lanshi from defeat, however close.
All three of Shenzhen Kingway's goals came from their defenders.
Youngster Zhang Ye scored in the first half to level the score,
while Marek Zajac and Mpogktan added two more in the second half,
securing three points for the mid-table club that just changed its
head coach last week.
Veteran Zou Yougen of Xiamen Lanshi was red carded for hitting
Shenzhen's Li Hongyang in the face.
In other games, Wuhan Guanggu came from behind to beat runner-up
chaser Changchun Yatai 4-2, while defending champion Dalian Shide
ended their match against Tianjin Teda in a scoreless draw.
Meanwhile, the two relegation battlers, Chongqing Lifan and
Qingdao Zhongneng, lost 2-0 and 1-0 to Xi'an Chanba and Shanghai
Liancheng respectively.
