The Chinese Olympic soccer team wasted several good chances to earn
points from a 10-men Czech side at the opening match at the Toulon
Tournament.
Tuesday morning (Beijing Time)'s match is the international
debut for the Chinese Olympic team. However, many of its key
players are left at home for the domestic China Super League since
they are the backbones of their local football clubs.
Czech, meanwhile, has some outstanding players who are playing
at world's top clubs.
The Czech side opened the game with a strong attack. But China
managed to launch counter-attacks to go head on head against the
powerful rival and forced Czech players commit fouls that led to
one exclusion only five minutes to the end. China failed to take
the opportunity and finished scoreless against Czech.
China will next take on Argentina Wednesday night.
