Chinese Super League bottom team Chongqing Lifan climbed from
behind to draw league leader Shandong Luneng two each in the 12th
round.
The visiting Shandong twice led the game over the underdog
Chongqing, but failed to extend the lead. The draw saw their lead
at the CSL standings trimmed to only three points ahead of
second-ranked Changchun Yatai.
Changchun, meanwhile, maintained its strong performance, beating
Tianjin Kangshifu 3-1.
Visitors Tianjin drew the first blood through Wu Wei. But
Changchun evened the score only ten minutes later. In the second
half, Changchun put on a stunning show, scoring two more goals in
just 15 minutes to set the winning tune.
The victory has extended their home winning streak to five.
In other matches on Wednesday, defending champions Dalian Shide
and the visiting capital club Beijing Guoan played a scoreless
draw. Beijing remained unbeaten in away matches this season.
The other two goalless matches were held between Shanghai
Liancheng and Shenzhen Jinwei, and Qingdao Zhongneng against Wuhan
Guanggu.
Liaoning and Xi'an International split their tie one each.
And a 10-men Shenyang beat hosts Xiamen admist a heated weather
2-1.
