Liu Xiangtao nailed 25 points and Tian Yu had 23 points with 10
boards as the Liaoning Hunters posed a home win over the Shandong
Lions 108-101 on Tuesday evening.
Brown Justin ended in a double-double with 15 points and 11
rebounds for Liaoning, who has won three games in a row. Yang Ming
also netted 23 pionts and gave six assists off bench in the
victory.
Jones Joel paced Shandong with game-high 42 points. Sun Jie was
the only other Shandong player reaching double figures with 24
points for the Lions, who have lost three straight games.
Liaoning led 29-24 after the first period, survived the threat
from Jones Joel, who had 16 points in the second quarter, and
carried a 60-51 edge into the locker room.
Liu Xiangtao and Yang Ming's inside play spark an 11-2 Hunters
run that swelled the lead to 86-65 after 36 minutes.
Liaoning outrebounded Shandong 47-35 in the game.
