China's Tian Pengfei has reached the third round of the snooker Pontin's International Open Event Seven.

Tian beat Brendan O'Donoghue, 4-1, on Monday to reach the final 32. He will meet Tom Sheard in the next round.

Meanwhile, China's Liu Song on Tuesday will face Ian Preece, who is on top of the table right now.
