李娜和姜山

Jiang Shan & Li Na. Li Na was hugely popular in China long before she won the 2011 French Open final, becoming the first Asian tennis player to capture a grand slam singles title. Jiang Shan, her husband and coach, was also in the spotlight, because of Li's repeated jokes about him during interviews after her matches. Their romance started many years ago when then-16 year-old Li gave a box of chocolates to Jiang when they both played for the Wuhan provincial team. They tied the knot in 2006. Li Na has been known to yell at her husband Jiang Shan in public. However, Li said, "When I am down during a match, Jiang is the only one I can yell at and relieve my pressure. I know I am a girl with a very bad temper, but he is always tolerant of me. I am grateful to Jiang."Sports commentators expect Li Na, accompanied by her trainer and husband Jiang Shan, will have a great performance in the London Olympics.
