Footage of Chinese people expressing their hope for a successful 2012 London Olympics will be shown at the Royal Albert Hall during a June 5 concert that will feature Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, Chinese pianist Lang Lang and crossover soprano Song Zuying.
"I hope the video will bring the Chinese people's wishes to London and the audience at the concert, as well as to everyone in the United Kingdom," Song said at a Tuesday ceremony held to mark the completion of collecting the footage.
The video is a compilation of footage, including verbal wishes and greetings, shot by Chinese people between May 2 and 28.
The one-night-only concert, titled "East Meets West -- Three Stars in Collaboration," will include solo and collaborative performances by the three stars. The performers will be accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus.
The event will mark the second collaboration between the three musicians following the 2010 Shanghai World Expo's opening ceremony.
The concert is being jointly sponsored by the Chinese Olympic Committee, Chinese Musicians' Association, the Chinese embassy in Britain, Beijing Olympic City Development Association and the Royal Albert Hall.
