Four-time champion Serena Williams fought back from one set down to edge China's Zheng Jie 6-7(5/7), 6-2, 9-7 to enter the fourth round at Wimbledon here on Saturday.

The sixth seeded Williams, who had beaten Zhen in all their previous five meetings, broke Zheng in the third set to pull ahead at 8-7 and held her own serve finally to win the match which last two hours 28 minutes.
Zheng also fell at the hands of the 31-year-old Williams at Wimbledon in 2008 when she surprised all to become the first Chinese to reach the last four in a Grand Slam event.
