Croatian police announced Friday to detain two top soccer officials suspected of bribes and match-fixing.
The two were Croatia football federation (HNS) vice-president and former referee Zeljko Siric and head of the national refereeing association Stjepan Djedovic.
They were detained after taking 30,000 euros (about 40,000 U.S. dollars) in bribes from an undercover agent to fix Croatia's First Division matches in 2009, according to local media.
