International Weightlifting Federation has issued China's Liao Hui, who won gold in Beijing, a ban from competitions due to doping, which will last until Sept. 30, 2014.

Liao won a gold medal in the 69 kg class at Beijing Olympic Games and held the world records for both the clean and jerk and the total in the 69 kg category, which has been stripped of after the doping issue.
