The Spanish football federation announced on Friday that the World Cup champion will play a soccer friendly with Venezuela in the South American country on June 1.

The venue for the match has not been determined.

Spain will also play the United States in a friendly in Boston on June 4. It will be the first encounter between the two sides since the Confederations Cup in South Africa in 2009, where Spain lost to USA 2-0.
