Brasilia beat Minas 82-76 in the Brazilian Basketball league (NBB) on Friday.

Forward Arthur spearheaded Brasilia by scoring 22 points. The player said that the victory was an important one to the team, knocking off a rival and returning to the winning column.

Brasilia's star forward Guilherme Giovannoni left the match early due to injury. He will undergo a series of medical exams.

Brasilia now have an 8-3 record and stand in the fourth place. Minas dropped to 5-4 record and currently stand in the ninth place
