England capable of beating anyone: Rooney

England striker Wayne Rooney said on Wednesday that his side had nothing to fear in the ongoing soccer bonanza.

England were held 1-1 by the United States in their World Cup opener.

"We've got nothing to be afraid of at this World Cup. I think we're capable of beating anyone," Rooney said. "To be honest, all the games I've watched have not been that exciting."
