Barcelona's 2-0 Copa del Rey win away to Ceuta came at a price on Tuesday night with the loss of young striker Jeffren with a shoulder injury.
Jeffren had to leave the pitch after just 33 minutes after landing badly following a fall and dislocated his shoulder.
The Barcelona club doctors put the joint back into place on the pitch and the player was then taken to hospital. First indications are that he will be out of action for around a month.
Jeffrey's injury was the only bad news on a night when Barcelona all but assured their place in the last 16 of the competition. Early goals from Maxwell and Pedro Rodriguez assured Barcelona the win in the north African enclave and the return leg should be a formality in the Camp Nou Stadium in two weeks time.
The other anecdote of the day was the way Barcelona made their journey across to Ceuta.
Pep Guardiola's side flew to Malaga by charter flight on the morning of the game and then flew across the Mediterranean sea in a fleet of helicopters.
The low winds and sunny weather meant that the players finished the journey with no ill effects.
"The experience was better than we all expected it to be," admitted Barcelona captain Carles Puyol in a message that he posted on his Twitter account.
