At home against Guarani in the 27th round of the Brazilian soccer championship, Internacional cruised to a 3-0 victory on Saturday.
After a scoreless first half, Internacional returned to score three second half goals. The first came in the 51st minute when Daniel nailed an angled ball into the right side of the Guarani net. Glaydson added to his team's lead in the 63rd minute, followed by Giuliano in the 80th minute.
The win keeps Internacional among the top four teams in the league, remaining in fourth place with 44 points. In the 28th round, it will travel to face Ceara on October 6.
Despite the loss, Guarani remains in 12th place with 33 points. In the next round, it will host Botafogo on October 6.
