Hong Kong of China has pulled out of the women's baseball World Cup on Sunday after one of its players was wounded by a stray bullet during a game in Caracas.
Cheuk Woon Yee was hit in the leg by a stray bullet during their match against the Netherlands on Friday and it wasn't clear where the bullet was fired from. The police were investigating the incident.
The International Baseball Federation said the Venezuela government has guaranteed the safety of all the teams.
The tournament started on Thursday and was originally scheduled to end on Aug. 22.
