The Czech Republic ousted Chile to qualify for the Davis Cup semifinals on Saturday when doubles pairing Jan Hajek and Lukas Dlouhy gave them an unassailable 3-0 lead over hosts Chile.
The duo beat Jorge Aguilar and Nicolas Massu 7-6 (3), 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.
The Czech Republic had been leading 2-0 overnight, which leaves Sunday's reverse singles to be played with only honor at stake.
The Czech Republic will next meet either Serbia or Croatia in the semifinals. Serbia are leading hosts Croatia 2-1 in Split.
