Germany Timo Boll and Wang Yuegu of Singapore claimed their singles titles at the Japan Open table tennis tournament in Kobe on Sunday.
As a two-time winner in 2003 and 2005, Boll defeated Jun Mizutani of Japan 11-2, 12-14, 12-10, 8-11, 11-5, 11-4 to take his first title of the season.
While Wang, who captured her first career Pro Tour title here in 2006, thrashed Chinese dark horse Zhu Yuling with an 11-7, 17-15, 11-6, 11-1 victory in the women's singles final.
The 15-year-old Zhu reached the final by eliminating sixth seed Sayaka Hirano of Japan, ninth seed Krisztina Toth of Hungary, second seed Ai Fukuhara of Japan and fifth seed Park Mi-Young of South Korea.
Earlier in the day, Japanese side Kenta Matsudaira and Koki Niwa took the men's doubles title by scoring a 6-11, 11-5, 7-11, 13-11, 11-4, 14-16, 11-1 victory over Hong Kong sixth seeds Jiang Tianyi and Leung Chu-yan in the final.
Women's doubles title also kept at home as Yuka Ishigaki and Yuri Yamanashi defeated Chinese Taipei pair Cheng I-ching and Huang Yi-hua 11-9, 11-13, 11-9, 11-3, 9-11, 11-3.
