The Chicago Bulls officially named Tom Thibodeau as their new coach on Wednesday.
Thibodeau becomes the NBA team's 18th head coach after they agreed a 6.5 million-dollar, two-year deal early on June.
He called it a "dream come true" after 20 years as an NBA assistant, the last three as "associate head coach" to Doc Rivers in Boston.
"In the back of my mind, I always thought it would happen," Thibodeau said. "I thought if you just keep working and working, and eventually it will happen."
