In the 4th round of the 2010 Brazilian Championship, Corinthians ended their perfect 3-0 record, playing to a 2-2 draw against Gremio Prudente on Wednesay.
Despite the draw, Corinthinas remains in first place with 10 points.
Gremio Prudente scored the first goal of the game in the 17th minute. Receiving the pass from Wesley, Wanderlei fired immeadiately at the Corinthians goal, placing the ball into the back of the net.
Corinthians tied the match in the 33rd minute. Off a stopped ball, Roberto Carlos lofted the ball to Chicao who then headed the ball into the goal.
Before the half came to an end, Gremio Prudente reclaimed the lead. Following up his teammates shot on goal, Ralf pounded the ball into the home team's goal.
Corinthians was able to score again in the 74th minute of play. Off a stopped ball, Bruno Cesar fired the ball directly at the goal. The ball deflected off a Gremio Prudente's fullback and entered the goal, tying the match.
Corinthians will look to extend their lead in this year's tournament then they host Santos on May 30. Gremio Prudente will travel to play Palmeiras on May 29 in the 5th round of play. Gremio Prudente currently stands in 15th place with 4 points.
