Lang Ping to train for middle school volleyball worlds

China's legendary spiker Lang Ping will come here in May to guide the Baotou No. 1 Middle School women's volleyball team which will represent China in the 2010 World Middle School Volleyball Championship.
Hao Zhensheng, head coach of the middle school women's team, told reporters Sunday that Lang Ping, also a world-class coach, will provide the team with all-round tactic guidance.
Baotou, a key city of China's Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, will host the 2010 edition of the biennial World Middle School Volleyball Championship in June. This is the first time for China to host the tournament.
A total of 48 men's and women's teams from 26 countries and regions will attend the championship.
The Baotou No. 1 Middle School women's volleyball team is one of the strongest in the world. Since its establishment in 1980, the team has gained a series of glorious results, including world champions and national champions.
