Back from the Doha World Indoor Championships, where he finished 7th in the men's 60m hurdles final, Liu Xiang's life returns to normal as the renowned hurdler resumes his daily routine of training.

The pressure on star hurdler Liu now may not just be on the field, as his father sides with the increasing requests of netizens who can't wait to see Liu find his Miss Right. [File photo]

Clearly the inferior result in Doha didn't deal a blow to Liu Xiang, as he has now set his new target at the Asian Games as well as the 2010 London Olympic Games.

"My next goal is to defend my title at Guangzhou Asian Games." Liu wrote on his blog. "And I am also confident in winning the top three in London, getting into the finals can be satisfactory though."

Liu won the men's 110m hurdles with a record 13.15 seconds at Doha Asian Games in 2006. With another gold in Busan, Liu has a decent chance to finish a hat-trick in Guangzhou this November if his tendon continues to recover.

The pressure on Liu now may not just be on the field, as his father sides with the increasing requests of netizens who can't wait to see Liu find his Miss Right.

"I want Liu Xiang to get a girlfriend this year. He's already 28, so it's time to date someone," said his father Liu Xuegen.
