The world number one golfer Tiger Woods has issued multiple apologies since his sex scandal was exposed. However, there are still some questions left for him to further clarify.
His wife Elin Woods never showed up under spotlight. Throughout her marriage, Elin never allowed herself be part of the story, even on Friday's press conference. Thus more questions are raised about their current marriage stage. Tiger mentioned her 10 times in his speech, but none of them explained why she was absent.
During Friday's event, no questions were allowed to be asked after his speech. It is apparent that Tiger and his handlers wanted to control all aspects of the meeting. If he really wanted to sincerely apologize and be ready to go public, why not take questions?
The very question that people care most is when the golfer will return to competition. Tiger Woods confirmed that he had been undergoing treatment in a rehabilitation centre, but did not confirm when he would return to golf, saying only that it would be "one day," possibly this year. The indecisive words indicated that it wouldn't be anytime soon, and, even Tiger didn't know when he would be back.
With many questions left unanswered, Tiger Woods perhaps needs to be more informative. The questions suggest the golfer actually is still undergoing a tough time. Whatever his answers, one thing is certain: the cameras, notebooks and microphones will be pointed in his direction.
