German Magdalena Neuner won women's 12.5km mass start of biathlon, Sunday at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Neuner finished the track in 35 minute, 19.6 seconds to win the gold medal, 5.5 seconds faster than Olga Zaitseva of Russia, who won the silver medal.
This is Neuner's second gold medal and third medal in the Vancouver Olympics. She already grabbed a gold medal in women's 10km pursuit and a silver medal in women's 7.5 km sprint.
"I would need to sit down first and realise it. At first, winning a medal is really stressful, because everyone is dragging you from here to there," she said after the competition.
Neuner will compete again on next Tuesday in the women's 4x6km relay.
When asked on how she managed to stay concentrated in her fourth competition, she said: "When you look at today's result, the whole team performed really well. The other girls are really strong, too, so I think that we've got a big chance in Relay."
Neuner's compatriot Simone Hauswald, who finished the track 7.3 seconds behind the champion, won the bronze medal.
