Leverkusen unbeaten streak extended for Bundesliga top

Bayer Leverkusen crushed visitors Freiburg 3-1 in four minutes at BayArena on Sunday, regaining a two-point lead in the Bundesliga over Bayern Munich.
Stuttgart trashed Dortmund 4-1 at home to extend their winning streak to four under new coach Christian Gross.
Undefeated powerhouses Bayer Leverkusen destroyed all hopes of a sensation by Freiburg in only four minutes. Both sides staged an evenly balanced start, but Bayer Leverkusen top striker Stefan Kiessling smoothed the way in a quickfire in the 36th.
Kiessling headed home a cross to open the scoring. one minute later, striker Eren Derdiyok doubled the lead. Leverkusen defender Samy Hyypia rose to head in a corner and scored the winner five minutes before break.
Freiburg's defender Felix Bastians scored the consolation goal in the 66th minute. Leverkusen killed the clock and moved back the top of German Bundesliga with 44 points and kept a two-point gap to chasers Bayern Munich who defeated Mainz on Saturday.
Stuttgart overcame Dortmund with four goals and staged an impressive performance.
VfB Stuttgart took the lead in the 14th minute thanks to an own goal by Dortmund defender Felipe Santana.
Both teams turned up and staged offensively-minded soccer. Ten minutes into second half, Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios scored his 10th of the season into an open goal after taking an assistance from youngster Kevin Groskreutz.
Stuttgart took the lead again in the 77th minute. Midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic scored with a magnificent goal into right corner. Striker Ciprian Marica and defender Christian Traesch extended the lead to 4-1 to seal three points.
Stuttgart climbed from 11th to 10th position while Dortmund cling to 4th.
