Manchester City's Brazil forward Robinho joined Santos on a six-month loan deal on Thursday.

"Santos will assume all of the player's contract terms, including wages and bonuses. Robinho will travel to Brazil on Sunday to begin his loan period," Manchester City said in its official website.

Robinho joined City in 2008 for a British record transfer fee of 32.5 million pounds (52.87 million U.S. dollars) from Real Madrid.
