American Robby Gordon captured the fourth stage in cars category at the Dakar Rally on Tuesday.
Gordon completed the 163km stage from Fiambala in northern Argentina to Copiapo in Chile in his hummer in one hour 40 minutes and 21 seconds. BMW's Stephane Peterhansel of France came second one second behind but stands atop the overall standings.
Qatari ace Nasser Al-Attiyah was third at 2:25.
KTM rider Marc Coma won the fourth stage of the motorcycling category after coming in 2:04 ahead of Frenchman David Casteu of Sherco.
Another Frenchman, Cyril Despres of KTM, who was third on the day 3:14 off the pace, retained his overall lead.
