Valencia have signed Argentine forward Alejandro Dominguez from Russia's Rubin Kazan on a three-and-a-half year contract, the La Liga club said on their website on Monday.

The 28-year-old has passed a medical and will be presented on Tuesday. He will compete with Spain's David Villa and Serbia's Nikola Zigic for a place in the starting lineup.
