Brazilian Rubens Barrichello clinched the pole position of the Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix.
The 37-year-old clocked the fastest qualifying time in one minute 19.576 seconds on Saturday while his Brawn team mate and championship leader Jenson Button qualified in 14th place.
Button has a 14 point advantage with two races remaining in the drives standings.
In the torrential rains that forced the qualifying to last for nearly three hours, Australian Mark Webber of RedBull qualified second and German Adrian Sutil from Force India-Mercedes was third.
