The riot before a Europa League game led to 150 Red Star Belgrade fans arrested and eight injured on Thursday, according to local media.
Hundreds of Red Star fans gathered in Prague's Old Town Square as some hurled beer glasses and other objects at passersby and others smashed nearby windows ahead the game between Red Star and Slavia Prague.
Czech riot police clashed with the fans which led to eight people injured, none seriously, website IDNES reported.
Riot police had beefed up security ahead of the match following other crowd trouble involving Red Star fans.
Slavia won the playoff round first-leg match 3-0.
