Slovenian runner Jolanda Ceplak won her first race after a two-year doping ban, local media reported on Wednesday.
Ceplak, who holds the world record for 800m indoors and won bronze in 800m at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, won a local race by clocking 2 minutes 07.13 seconds on Tuesday.
"I can run much better. After two years, it was hard to race again," said Ceplak, who tested positive for the blood-booster erythropoietin (EPO) in June 2007.
The 32-year-old athlete added that she has no plans to compete in the world championships next month in Berlin.
