New signing Antonio Valencia scored the winner for Manchester United in a 2-1 victory over Boca Juniors in a star-studded friendly tournament yesterday.
In the second game of the Audi Cup, Thomas Mueller scored twice to help Bayern Munich beat AC Milan 4-1.
Midfielder Anderson gave Manchester United the lead with a curling free kick. Valencia, newly signed from Wigan, sealed the victory before halftime with a low shot that went in under goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri.
Federico Insua pulled one back for the Argentine club in the 55th.
Mueller scored early for Bayern after Ronaldinho lost possession and added the last goal in the final minute.
In between, Bastian Schweinsteiger scored in the 80th after a solo run, but Milan got its goal one minute later when Andrea Pirlo netted from a free kick with Bayern goalkeeper Hans-Joerg Butt letting the ball slip through his fingers.
Saer Sene restored Bayern's two-goal lead in the 89th, before Mueller completed the victory.
Bayern will play Manchester United in today's final, while Boca Juniors faces AC Milan for third place.
