Olympic champion and world record holder Usain Bolt will run in the 2009 Shanghai Golden Grand Prix, the Shanghai Golden Grand Prix Organizing Committee said.
It will be the first time for the Jamaican "Lightning" to race in Shanghai when he shows up in the September 20 meet at the Shanghai stadium, the organizers told reporters on Thursday.
Bolt became the instant world athletics sensation at last year's Beijing Olympics when he broke the 100 and 200 meters world records to win before clinching the relay title, also in a world record time.
Russian pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva is also expected to make her appearance in the annual athletics event.
